This work dives into how wettability conditions, modified by crude oil aging or silica nanoparticle coatings, influence geochemical reactivity and structural integrity of carbonate rocks during CO₂ storage. It shows that these wettability-altering treatments influence carbonate dissolution, surface stability, and CO₂ trapping under representative geologic storage conditions.
